The HaUI Robocon contest 2020 took place on the morning of June 18th, 2020. DTO3 team from the Faculty of Electronics Engineering won the first prize after defeating 11 other teams from different faculties.

From 09th to 14th of May 2017, at Ninh Binh gymnasium, the final round of Robocon Vietnam 2017 took place with the theme “The landing disc”. NN01 team and DT4 team represented Hanoi University of Industry for this round of the contest.

After five days of the North Robocon 2017 elimination round, the organizers have identified 24 teams to attend the Final Nationwide Robocon Round, including 02 teams from Hanoi University of Industry.

On March 27th, 2017, the "Robocon Vietnam 2017" competition was held with the participation of 10 teams from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering.

To continue the university’s tradition of high achievement in previous Robocon, Hanoi University of Industry officially inaugurates Robocon Vietnam 2017

On the morning of October 20th, Faculty Electrical Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry organized "Inauguration ceremony of scientific research initiative and Robocon of Electrical Engineering students for 2016-2017 academic year”. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the university, departments, standing Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and representatives of Youth Unions -Student's Union; Heads of the Divisions, class head teachers and 600 students.

From 11th to 16th April 2016, the Robocon Vietnam 2016 qualifying round took place at Tay Ho District Sporting Event Hall with the participation of 60 teams.
