On the morning of June 9th, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Quy - Rector of the university signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of cooperation on defense and security education training for students between Hanoi University of Industry and National Economics University (NEU).

On January 11th, 2020, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a conference to meet businesses with the participation of representatives from over 100 domestic and foreign enterprises.

On December 24th 2019, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of HaUI and representatives of International Cooperation Center, Faculty of Foreign Languages welcomed and worked with a delegation from Xiangsihu College of Guangxi National University for Nationalities, China led by Ms. Tang Lina - Vice President. The meeting was to discuss on the prospects of cooperation between the two parties.

On December 5th, 2019, a delegation from Aomori prefectural government, Japan paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry. Welcoming the delegation, there were Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector and representatives of Center for International Cooperation, Center for Enterprise partnership and HaUI Institute of Technology.

On November 29th, Dr Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) had a working meeting with Mr. Gerald Ho - General Manager of SMC Corporation Vietnam to discuss about collaboration and how to support training and research activities for lecturers and students.

Within the framework of the working visit to Vietnam, on November 14th, 2019, the delegation of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) led by Mr. Zhang Yanmin - Executive Vice President paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI).

On October 22nd, 2019, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of HaUI chaired the delegation of Fukuoka Prefecture (Japan) led by Mr. Tosho Matsuo, Acting Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, Chairman of the Federation of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly Members for Japan - Vietnam Friendship visiting and working at the university.

On September 25, 2019, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed and worked with delegations from Russian universities: Moscow Polytechnic University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Belgorod State Technological University and Moscow Aviation Institute.

On September 25, Mr Yoshinori Ooka - General Manager of O-OKA Giken Company chaired a seminar on training program for HaUI talented engineers with many attractive contents. Assoc.Prof.Dr Tran Duc Quy - Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed and discussed with the executives of O-OKA Giken Company.

On the afternoon of September 24, 2019, a meeting was took place between Hindustan Computers Limited (HCL) Technologies, India and Hanoi University of Industry.
