Advancing digital transformation in higher education: Cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry and Hanoi Medical University
In the context of digital transformation and interdisciplinary trends shaping modern higher education, Hanoi Medical University conducted a working visit to Hanoi University of Industry to exchange experiences in university governance and discuss future directions for cooperation in the new development phase.

Overview of the meeting
The delegation from Hanoi Medical University was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kim Bao Giang, Vice Rector, while Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, welcomed the delegation together with representatives from relevant academic and administrative units of both institutions.
At the meeting, Hanoi University of Industry presented a digital governance framework in which institutional data is integrated and managed across the entire operational lifecycle, from admissions and academic delivery to examinations and quality assurance. This end-to-end digital architecture enhances administrative efficiency while strengthening transparency and ensuring consistency in quality assurance processes.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien emphasized that digital transformation in higher education has become an irreversible trend rather than a discretionary initiative. A key focus of the discussion was the shift from traditional governance approaches to digital university management. Participants exchanged insights on the digitalization of the entire training cycle, from curriculum design and implementation to learning outcome assessment. The discussion also covered examination management, development of evidence-based systems, and implementation of digital quality assurance frameworks.
