HaUI and Luxshare-ICT strengthen cooperation in High-Quality workforce development
As Luxshare-ICT continues to expand its investment and manufacturing operations in Vietnam, the corporation is facing an increasing demand for highly skilled technical personnel. To support this long-term development strategy, Hanoi University of Industry welcomed a delegation from Luxshare-ICT on May 13, 2026, to discuss strategic cooperation in training and workforce development.

Overview of the working session
The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry. Representing the company was Mr. Wang Baofeng, Director of University–Enterprise Cooperation at Luxshare-ICT, along with members of the company’s delegation.
At the working session, both parties discussed in detail the implementation of a “3+1” training model. Under this framework, HaUI students will complete three years of study in Vietnam before undertaking one year of academic training and industry placement in China. Luxshare-ICT committed to fully supporting participating students through funding for accommodation, transportation, and foreign language training. The first cohort is expected to include at least 50 students, with plans to gradually expand the program to 200 participants in the coming years. Priority fields include mechanical engineering, automotive technology, electrical engineering, electronics, and mechatronics.

A major highlight of the discussion was the agreement to establish a joint HaUI–Luxshare Training Center at the company’s Bac Ninh manufacturing complex. The center is expected to provide students with direct access to modern industrial production environments, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry requirements. To support the training process, Luxshare-ICT also proposed providing advanced practice-oriented equipment aligned with the latest technological standards in electronics manufacturing and smart production systems.
In addition, both sides emphasized cooperation in the development, translation, and publication of specialized teaching materials. Updated technical documents and industry knowledge provided by the enterprise will be jointly adapted to suit Vietnam’s higher education framework, enabling students to access advanced technologies and global industrial practices more effectively.
According to company representatives, Luxshare-ICT’s long-term strategy in Vietnam focuses on accelerating workforce localization, with the goal of enabling Vietnamese engineers to take on key technical and managerial positions within the corporation’s global manufacturing network.
