The visit brought HaUI representatives to 13 educational authorities, schools, and training institutions across Vientiane. Through direct discussions with education leaders, school administrators, teachers, students, and parents, the delegation shared information about HaUI's academic programs, international student support policies, admissions procedures, and scholarship opportunities.

Beyond providing admissions counseling, the visit served as an important opportunity for HaUI to gain a better understanding of the aspirations and needs of Lao students and families, while further strengthening the longstanding educational ties between Viet Nam and Laos.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tien Dat, Acting Head of the Department of External Affairs, emphasized that attracting international students was a key focus of HaUI's internationalization efforts. He highlighted HaUI's efforts to build a comprehensive support system to help international students adapt quickly to the language, living environment, and learning methods in Viet Nam. He also noted that visiting schools directly in Laos enabled HaUI to listen to students, parents, and educational institutions and develop support measures that better responded to their actual needs.

The scholarship and support policies attracted considerable interest from Lao students and families. Parents particularly welcomed the availability of Vietnamese language preparation, accommodation support, living allowances, and a wide range of academic choices, noting that clear information and direct access to support would help families feel more confident about sending their children to study in Viet Nam.
