The meeting, held on June 22, laid the groundwork for a comprehensive partnership aimed at enhancing academic quality, promoting collaborative research, and developing globally competitive engineering talent.

For nearly two decades, the partnership between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Foxconn Technology Group has demonstrated the value of close collaboration between academia and industry. Through annual recruitment of 100–200 HaUI students, joint training initiatives, and the successful operation of the Foxconn-sponsored Technical Training Center at HaUI since 2008, the partnership has made a significant contribution to developing highly skilled engineering talent for Vietnam's manufacturing sector.

As part of ongoing efforts to advance internationalization and expand global engagement, a delegation of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) conducted a working visit to Leon Guinto Memorial College and Guinayangan Senior High School in the Philippines from 7-9 June 2026. In this context, a delegation from Bach Mai Hospital visited Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) to exchange expertise in developing digital governance models, operating smart university systems, and exploring future cooperation opportunities.

The international training cooperation program between Vietnamese universities and Goertek Group (China) has achieved remarkable progress in a short period of time. From an initial cohort of 23 pioneering students in 2025, the program has significantly expanded, with 90 engineering students currently undertaking their studies in China this year. Among them are 47 students from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), 38 students from Thai Nguyen University of Technology, and 5 students from Electric Power University.

With nearly 800 students enrolling in ACCA-integrated programmes each year and the largest number of lecturers in Vietnam supported in pursuing ACCA qualifications, Hanoi University of Industry is steadily affirming the quality and international orientation of academic programmes in accounting, auditing, and finance.

As Luxshare-ICT continues to expand its investment and manufacturing operations in Vietnam, the corporation is facing an increasing demand for highly skilled technical personnel. To support this long-term development strategy, Hanoi University of Industry welcomed a delegation from Luxshare-ICT on May 13, 2026, to discuss strategic cooperation in training and workforce development.
