The two institutions engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at identifying breakthrough initiatives for cooperation, particularly in the pioneering field of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology.

HaUI was formerly established as the merger of Hanoi Technical School (founded in 1898) and Hai Phong Technical School (founded in 1913). On October 2, the visit and working session of the School of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Law) at HaUI served as a meaningful platform for both institutions to exchange practical perspectives on process standardization, operational optimization, and strategic approaches to advancing digital transformation in higher education.

On the morning of September 27, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held the Conference to Review the 2024–2025 Academic Year and to Outline the Orientations and Tasks for 2025–2026. The event served not only as a forum to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments but also as the formal commencement of a new stage of development, guided by strategic vision, firm determination, and alignment with the directives of the Party and the State of Vietnam

In September 2025, 22 students majoring in Business Administration, 24 students of English and Chinese Studies, and 14 students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) embarked on academic exchange and study programs at leading universities and enterprises in China.
