Strategic Collaboration between Hanoi University of Industry and College of Industrial Techniques in Training and Science & Technology
Collaboration between higher education institutions and vocational education centers has become an inevitable trend to optimize resources and enhance the quality of the national workforce. In this context, on November 26, Hanoi University of Industry and College of Industrial Techniques officially signed a cooperation agreement on training activities and scientific and technological development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kiều Xuân Thực, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, expressed his hope that the two institutions would engage in comprehensive cooperation in the two core areas of training and scientific and technological development. He emphasized his belief that close collaboration would serve as a key to leveraging the unique strengths of each institution, thereby creating synergistic value for students and society.

Mr. Đào Đức Quảng, Rector of College of Industrial Techniques, extended his congratulations to Hanoi University of Industry on the occasion of its official transition to university status. Mr. Quảng praised the prestige and standing of Hanoi University of Industry and expressed his hope that, through specific collaborative activities, the two institutions would actively exchange expertise in governance and professional fields, fostering stronger joint development and better meeting the increasing demands of the labor market.

The agreement was established on a solid legal foundation and in response to the practical needs for capacity development of both institutions, adhering to the principles of voluntariness, equality, and mutual respect, with the aim of sustainably developing core educational values.
The agreement focuses on supporting and sharing human resources. Both institutions agreed to connect their networks of experts to develop training programs from undergraduate to postgraduate levels. In parallel, they will collaborate on capacity-building programs for staff and lecturers, including supervision of master’s and doctoral students. The exchange of staff, faculty, researchers, and students is also identified as a key activity, to be conducted in the spirit of goodwill and mutual development.
In terms of academic resources, the two institutions are committed to close cooperation in compiling and publishing textbooks, teaching materials, and scientific publications. To adapt to the digital transformation trend in education, they will jointly develop e-learning materials and lectures, and allow the shared use of resources and curricula during training programs. This resource-sharing approach helps optimize investment costs and provides students at both institutions with access to up-to-date and diverse knowledge systems.
Regarding scientific and technological activities, the two institutions have agreed to outline joint research plans and exchange academic information. They will support each other in implementing scientific and technological projects at various levels and collaborate in organizing prestigious conferences and seminars. Research outputs by staff, faculty, and students will be prioritized for publication in the scientific outlets of each institution. In addition, both institutions agreed to share information from international partners to expand and strengthen external collaboration in line with their respective functions and responsibilities.
To ensure the quality of education and the fulfillment of commitments, the two sides agreed on mechanisms for sharing facilities and technical equipment to support teaching and research. At the same time, the institutions will share information related to benchmarking and standardization in quality assurance activities.
