On May 17, the final round and award ceremony of the 2nd "Smart City Integrated Circuit (IC) Design Competition 2024" took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was jointly organized by the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Department of Science and Technology, and other supporting organizations.

On the afternoon of May 16, 2025, the Faculty of Garment Textile Technology and Fashion Design at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) successfully held the final round of the “Sustainable Fashion Textile and Garment Design” competition. Students from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) delivered an impressive performance at the 35th National Mechanics Olympiad, securing one First Prize, one Second Team Prize, and 25 individual awards.
