In the morning of September 15th, 2016, HAUI held a meeting between officials, teachers, and students attending 2016 ASEAN Skills Competition in Malaysia. Dr Pham Van Bong - HAUI Vice Rector - on behalf of HAUI board of management, had some advices to trainers and candidates before the event.

Team Super Cub 50 of Faculty of Automobile Technology, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) made the record for the self-made car with fuel consumption level at only 3000 km/l in the energy-efficient eco-driving competition organized by Honda. Super Cub 50 has also officially become the representative of Vietnam participating in the coming eco-driving competition in Japan.

On August 3rd 2015, Dr. Tran Duc Quy, Rector of Hanoi University of Industry cum Secretary of Communist Party of University met and assigned tasks to university delegation participating in 43rd World Skills Competition.

The Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2013 (ABU Robocon 2013) will be held from August 14-18 in Vietnam’s coastal city of Da Nang.
