HaUI records higher admission scores across key engineering and technology disciplines in 2026

On August 10, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) announced the admission scores for the full-time undergraduate programs for the 2026 academic year. The results show a notable increase in admission scores across several engineering and engineering technology disciplines, which represent key areas of HaUI’s academic and training strengths.

Admission scores across major engineering fields increased by 0.75 to 1.62 points compared with 2025. The average admission score for Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering Technology programs reached 22.87 points, up 0.76 points from the previous year. Mechanical Engineering Technology programs recorded an average admission score of 23.37 points, an increase of 0.79 points, while the average for Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering reached 23.20 points, up 1.07 points.

Several programs recorded admission scores above 25 points. Control and Automation Engineering Technology recorded the highest admission score at 27.39 points, an increase of 1.12 points compared with 2025. Mechatronics Engineering Technology followed at 26.50 points, up 1.33 points, while Robotics and Artificial Intelligence recorded 25.65 points, an increase of 1.35 points. Other programs with admission scores above 25 points included Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, at 25.14 points, up 1.21 points, and Automotive Mechatronics Engineering Technology, at 25.05 points, up 1.12 points.

Several other engineering programs also recorded substantial year-on-year increases. Mechanical Engineering Technology reached 24.68 points, an increase of 0.96 points, while Powertrain Engineering recorded 23.75 points, up 1.25 points. Thermal Engineering Technology reached 23.47 points, representing the largest increase among the programs highlighted, at 1.62 points compared with 2025. The increase in admission scores across key engineering and technology disciplines indicates sustained interest among applicants in fields closely associated with technological development and industrial production. The results also reflect the continued appeal of HaUI’s academic programs, supported by qualified academic staff, practice-oriented training, modern laboratories and facilities, and extensive engagement with industry.
