On June 28–29, 2025, Global Junior Fashion Week (GJFW) took place at the Hanoi Museum, bringing together aspiring young designers, creative talents, and educational institutions from across Vietnam and beyond. Among the standout participants were students from the Faculty of Garment Textile Technology and Fashion Design at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), who made a notable impression with their innovative and sustainable fashion collections.

Themed “The Celestial Symphony”, this year’s GJFW celebrated not only youthful creativity but also the integration of traditional culture, environmental consciousness, and artistic expression. The event conveyed strong messages of peace, harmony, and sustainable living, with each fashion presentation contributing to a broader narrative on ecological awareness and future-forward design.
As part of the program, students from HaUI introduced 13 sustainable fashion collections, with three outstanding student representatives taking part in the main catwalk presentation. These collections demonstrated not only technical excellence but also deep aesthetic sensibility and a mature understanding of sustainable fashion principles, an increasingly vital trend in the global fashion industry.
HaUI's presence at GJFW 2025 reflects the university’s dedication to practical, industry-oriented training, creative thinking, and its forward-looking educational approach. Through participation in this prestigious event, students had the opportunity to engage directly with professional design environments, showcase their capabilities, and affirm their readiness to contribute meaningfully to the fashion and textile industry.
In addition to promoting technical skills and creativity, HaUI’s involvement also highlights its strong emphasis on sustainability, responsible design, and interdisciplinary learning. These are key pillars in the university’s mission to produce a new generation of designers equipped with global competencies and a strong sense of social responsibility.
The Faculty of Garment Textile Technology and Fashion Design at HaUI continues to attract a growing number of prospective students, thanks to its comprehensive, practice-based curriculum and strong industry connections. The university remains committed to empowering students to become confident, skilled, and innovative professionals ready to thrive in the global fashion landscape.
The success of HaUI students at GJFW 2025 once again reaffirms the university’s academic strength, its creative capacity, and its growing influence in Vietnam’s fashion education sector.
