Students of JIS University embark on an enriching academic and cultural exchange at Hanoi University of Industry

The journey from JIS University (India) to Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) marks a meaningful chapter in the growing educational collaboration between Vietnam and India. This exchange program offers not only academic enrichment but also a profound cultural experience, fostering mutual understanding and laying the groundwork for future cooperation between the two institutions.

Over the span of two weeks, 26 students from JIS University will participate in a diverse range of activities, including specialized training, scientific seminars, practical experience in modern laboratories, site visits to partner enterprises, and cultural excursions. These engagements provide valuable opportunities to explore advanced technologies, enhance professional knowledge, and gain insights into the vibrant culture and dynamic academic environment of Vietnam.

The program commenced with a warm and collegial meeting between representatives of HaUI’s School of Information and Communications Technology (SICT) and JIS University. Both sides discussed future collaboration in training, research, and the development of high-quality human resources in information technology and related fields.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Son, Vice Principal of School of Information and Communication Technology (SICT), provided an overview of SICT and detailed the academic exchange initiatives established between the two institutions, specifically mentioning the inclusion of courses on AI and IoT.

Ms. Sagarika Chowdhury, JIS University, conveyed her profound gratitude for Hanoi University of Industry's gracious welcome. She articulated her keen pleasure in this collaboration, expressing a strong aspiration that the exchange program would provide invaluable experiences for students from both institutions.

Throughout their two-week stay at SICT (HaUI), JISU students will participate in a diverse and practical schedule designed to optimize their learning and cultural experiences:

- Intensive training course on Artificial Intelligence (AI): Providing foundational and updated knowledge on modern AI trends.

- Scientific seminar: Exploring new technologies and practical applications, broadening their industry perspectives.

- Hands-on practice at modern labs: Direct opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge with advanced equipment.

- Field trips to partner businesses: Offering students an authentic insight into professional working environments and the application of technology in the industry.

- Participation in the ICPC - HaUI Competition: Competing and engaging in peer learning with HaUI students, honing problem-solving and teamwork skills.

- Cultural exchange and historical site visits: Discovering the unique cultural beauty of Vietnam through prominent landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature.

This program not only enables JISU and HaUI students to expand their specialized knowledge but also provides invaluable opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of the history, culture, and people of Vietnam and India.
