Honoring the past, shaping the future: HaUI gears up for Robocon Vietnam 2025

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) has long solidified its position as a leading hub for the Vietnam Robot Contest (Robocon) movement, boasting an impressive track record across numerous seasons. HaUI Robocon teams are renowned for their strong determination, ceaseless innovation, and robust technical foundation, having repeatedly secured top honors in national competitions and proudly represented Vietnam on the international stage, bringing home remarkable achievements.

On the afternoon of June 03, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry held an intimate meeting to encourage and formally assign tasks to the university's five outstanding Robocon teams. These teams will officially represent HaUI at Robocon Vietnam 2025, taking place in Ninh Binh from June 04 to June 13, 2025. The meeting, filled with enthusiasm and confidence in the younger generation, underscored the leadership's profound interest in this prestigious intellectual arena.

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of the university, reflected on the history of active participation and the excellent achievements that generations of HaUI students have attained in the Robocon arena since 2003. Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Dong emphasized: "Robocon is not merely a technology competition; it is an ideal environment for students to apply their learned knowledge to solve real-world engineering problems, refine teamwork skills, foster creative thinking, and cultivate the will to overcome challenges."

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong expressed firm belief in this year's five teams (DCN-SEEE1, DCN-SEEE2, DCN-SOL, DCN-SMAE1, DCN-SMAE2). He encouraged them to maintain their health, optimistic spirit, strong determination, and to compete with all their might. Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Dong also affirmed HaUI's unwavering commitment to providing optimal conditions and maximum support in terms of facilities, equipment, funding, and technical expertise, ensuring the teams can dedicate themselves fully, compete confidently, and bring glory to both individuals and the university.

With meticulous technical and strategic preparation, coupled with high determination, HaUI's Robocon teams are poised to embark on their journey to conquer new challenges at Robocon Vietnam 2025. The university's systematic investment, including the establishment of a modern robot practice field at its Ha Nam training facility, the deployment of dedicated technical staff and support, the close mentorship of guiding lecturers, and the enthusiastic encouragement from the student body, promises to provide immense strength.
