A serendipitous journey, A radiant youth: Graduation Ceremony of School of Information and Communications Technology
On the morning of August 19, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held the Graduation Ceremony for the School of Information and Communications Technology (SICT), honoring more than 750 new graduates. The event marked the successful completion of an important academic journey and the beginning of new aspirations for the young professionals.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan,Chairman of the University Council, and Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, presented certificates of merit and awards to outstanding students of 2025
Representing her peers, Vu Thi Hue, a graduate of Information Systems, delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting on the resilience of the “Golden Goat” generation, born in 2003. She recalled the challenges of their formative years, including the absence of a proper high school farewell due to extraordinary circumstances. Yet, she emphasized that HaUI and SICT had provided an environment where students could experience meaningful milestones, overcome difficulties, and mature both academically and personally. On behalf of the class, she expressed deep gratitude to the faculty, student organizations, and families for their unwavering guidance and support, declaring: “This diploma is our gift of gratitude to our teachers and parents.”

Addressing the graduates, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector of HaUI, commended their tireless efforts throughout four years of study. He encouraged them to uphold integrity, responsibility, and compassion in their future careers, emphasizing the importance of building their paths with honesty and kindness, guided by a desire to serve the community. He further reminded them to always cherish and embody HaUI’s core cultural values of diligence, creativity, humility, compassion, and aspiration for growth.

While destiny may have brought them together, their shared identity as members of HaUI will remain a lasting source of pride and connection.
