Advancing educational collaboration: HaUI welcomes GXUST Master’s and Undergraduate students

On the morning of September 19, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a welcoming ceremony for a delegation of 29 master’s students and 3 undergraduate students from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), China, who will pursue study and exchange activities within the framework of international education cooperation.

Since the inception of HaUI’s partnership with GXUST in 2008, the two universities have engaged in a broad spectrum of collaborative initiatives, ranging from faculty and student exchanges to joint training programs, scientific research, and technology transfer, resulting in many significant achievements. Over the past 17 years of cooperation, more than 500 outstanding students from both Vietnam and China have been successfully trained, reflecting the depth and effectiveness of this enduring academic partnership.

In the welcoming remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, extended a warm reception to the delegation and underscored that the participation of 29 master’s students and 3 undergraduate students in English Language Studies both consolidates the long-standing partnership between HaUI and GXUST and inaugurates a new stage of collaboration through the master’s student exchange program. He reaffirmed HaUI’s commitment to close cooperation with GXUST to ensure the success of the initiative, pledging full support for the students’ academic development and daily life in Vietnam, while maintaining consistent communication to address challenges and to enhance academic and cultural exchange.

Representing GXUST, Ms. Liu Chen shared that the exchange program creates an important opportunity for students to experience the dynamism of higher education in Vietnam, discover the richness of its culture, and engage in academic collaboration with HaUI faculty and students. She noted that these meaningful experiences will help strengthen mutual understanding, encourage intellectual development, and leave participants with valuable memories.
