HaUI "Red Spring" Festival promotes blood donation and community responsibility
Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized its annual “Red Spring” Festival, a large-scale blood donation drive held across both campuses. As a recurring initiative, the program plays a dual role: supporting national blood supply efforts while reinforcing a culture of responsibility and community engagement within the university.
From early morning, donation areas at both campuses operated continuously, receiving a steady number of participants. The process was organized into clear stages, including registration, health screening, consultation, and donation. This structure ensured efficiency while maintaining safety standards, particularly for first-time donors.

Participation came from a wide range of units within the university. Faculty members, administrative staff, and students arranged their schedules to take part throughout the day. The level of turnout indicated not only awareness of the program but also a willingness to engage in activities with direct social impact.
For many participants, blood donation was seen as a direct and measurable way to contribute to society. Unlike other forms of volunteering, the impact of blood donation is immediate and clearly linked to medical needs.

The 2026 program concluded with consistent participation and effective coordination between organizers and medical teams. The event continues to demonstrate HaUI’s commitment to practical community engagement.
