HaUI students honored for HAutoML Platform at National Startup Day 2026

On April 19, 2026, surpassing hundreds of projects nationwide, a student team from Hanoi University of Industry advanced to the final round of the 8th National Startup Day for Students (SV.STARTUP 2026). Their project, HAutoML, was awarded a Consolation Prize at the national level, recognizing sustained research efforts and reflecting the University’s strategic orientation toward science, technology, and innovation driven development.

At this year’s competition, Hanoi University of Industry continued to demonstrate a structured and forward looking approach to fostering technology based entrepreneurship. The success of HAutoML, an automated machine learning platform that enables users to build artificial intelligence models without programming, highlights the capability of HaUI students to address emerging challenges in digital transformation.

The project was developed by a team of students including Do Thi Ha, Vu Xuan Dong, Le Van Anh, and Hoang Viet Anh. Sharing the vision of making artificial intelligence accessible to all, team leader Do Thi Ha noted that technical barriers often limit the adoption of AI among non specialist users. In response, the team designed HAutoML as a comprehensive platform that automates the entire machine learning process.

Built on a no code and low code philosophy, the platform allows users to develop complete AI systems without requiring programming skills. It offers an intuitive interface, integrated performance analytics, and flexible API connectivity, enabling seamless integration with business and management systems for accurate data classification and predictive analysis.
