HaUI Trade Union reviews the 2024 - 2025 academic year

On October 15, the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a Conference to review its activities for the 2024 - 2025 academic year and outline key orientations and tasks for 2025 - 2026. The event also honored outstanding union members for their remarkable contributions over the past year.

Chairing the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector and President of HaUI Trade Union, emphasized the spirit of innovation, discipline, and meaningful care for union members - a foundation to enhance the quality of trade union activities and align closely with the university’s development goals.

Throughout the 2024 - 2025 academic year, HaUI’s Trade Union actively improved both the material and spiritual well-being of its members; strengthened its organizational structure; and supported Party membership development, introducing eight outstanding union members to the Communist Party. The Union also maintained strong political and ideological education, promoted emulation movements, and contributed significantly to the university’s stability and growth.

Looking ahead to the 2025 - 2026 academic year, the Trade Union will focus on several priorities:

- Successfully organizing the grassroots trade union congresses and the 2025 - 2030 HaUI Trade Union Congress.

- Continuing to protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and staff.

- Promoting effective communication and mobilization, encouraging members to actively implement the university’s key missions in admissions, training, quality assurance, and professional development.

These actions aim to strengthen unity, improve performance, and drive HaUI toward new milestones in its journey of innovation and integration.

During the conference, the Trade Union presented two Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, 23 Certificates from the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, along with awards for financial management excellence (2024) and achievements in the “Culture and Sports” movement to three distinguished union members.
