HaUI embarks on preliminary survey for accreditation of ten academic programs
On September 25, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), in collaboration with the Center for Education Accreditation under Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (CEA VNUHCM), conducted a preliminary survey as part of the external evaluation process for 10 academic programs. This activity reflects HaUI’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality and reaffirm its position as one of Vietnam’s leading higher education institutions.
The evaluation encompasses ten academic programs, including five undergraduate majors in Office Management, Mold Engineering Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Data Analytics, and Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, together with five master’s programs in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Mechanical Engineering, Accounting, Chemical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. This undertaking fulfills the periodic accreditation requirements while simultaneously ensuring compliance with Circular No. 04/2025/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training, which sets forth the national standards for higher education program accreditation. Through comprehensive self-assessment and collaboration with a reputable accrediting agency, HaUI affirms its strategic vision and steadfast commitment to building a transparent, credible, and effective educational system aligned with international benchmarks.

Overview of the working session
The preliminary survey was implemented in a structured and professional manner. The external evaluation team examined documents and supporting evidence, engaged in discussions and interviews with leaders of functional units such as Department of Academic Affairs and the Center for Post-Graduate Studies, and conducted on-site inspections of classrooms, laboratories, practice rooms, and offices. Through these activities, the team gained a well-rounded and in-depth understanding of HaUI’s academic programs and institutional facilities.

Speaking at the session, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, Head of the Evaluation Team from CEA VNUHCM, underscored the importance of an approach that is both constructive and firmly grounded in transparency and evidence. He commended HaUI for the substantial improvements achieved in recent years, highlighting that certain strengths should be more prominently reflected in the self-assessment reports. Dr. Nghia emphasized that the purpose of the evaluation extended beyond reviewing documents, as the team sought to directly experience the university’s academic environment to gain deeper insights into its programs. This method, he noted, not only ensures objective and well-substantiated conclusions but also provides valuable recommendations to support HaUI’s sustainable development.

On behalf of HaUI’s leadership, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector of HaUI, reaffirmed the institution’s unwavering dedication to quality assurance. He emphasized that quality assurance has long been considered a strategic priority at HaUI, with accreditation serving both as a mechanism for compliance and as an essential opportunity to systematically review operations and introduce timely, effective improvements across the academic system.
