Igniting Innovation: HaUI students prepare for the AI-Powered Accounting landscapeDelivering an overview of digital transformation in the accounting and auditing sectors, Mr. Bui Manh Quan - Deputy Director of Tax & Advisory Services at RSM Vietnam (Ha Nam Branch) - presented on the topic “The Application of Technology in Accounting and Auditing in the AI Era.” He emphasized that major auditing firms are increasingly digitizing business processes, from data collection and processing to risk analysis and financial reporting. However, he also pointed out existing challenges in the adoption process. “Technology will not replace humans,” Mr. Quan affirmed, “but it will enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the depth of analysis in accounting and auditing.”

Offering a student-centered perspective, Mr. Duong Quoc Hung - Director of IPA Auditing Company (Hanoi Branch) - discussed “What Students Need to Prepare for Careers in Accounting and Auditing in the AI Era.” His talk focused on practical guidance, underlining the importance for students to not only master core professional knowledge but also develop technological proficiency, data analysis capabilities, and most importantly, adaptive, creative, and lifelong learning mindsets.
