TikTok UniTour 2025: Empowering startups through knowledge and digital creativity

On October 25, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), in collaboration with the Vietnam Youth Startup Support Center (SYS) – Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, hosted the TikTok UniTour 2025 program. The event provided a dynamic academic and practical forum on entrepreneurship in the digital era, attracting students, technology experts, and business representatives to exchange valuable knowledge and experiences.

The program is a key activity under the “Enhancing Digital Business Capabilities for 20 Million Vietnamese Youth” initiative, designed with a dual purpose: delivering in-depth discussions on the content creation ecosystem and offering hands-on workshops to develop practical skills. This initiative aligns with major national directives, including Resolution No. 57 – NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, on advancing national science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, and Resolution No. 68 – NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025, on fostering private sector growth as a key driver of the economy.

Through panels on TikTok Live, the TikTok Creator Network (TCN), and Multi-Channel Network (MCN) models, the program unveiled employment opportunities and income potential from affiliated livestreaming.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry, presented bouquets to the distinguished guests attending the program.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien emphasized that sustainable entrepreneurship must rest on three core pillars: knowledge, academic foundation, and character. Creativity drives differentiation, but it must originate from the students’ professional knowledge. Students are not merely consumers of content but are “digital citizens” capable of guiding their communities with messages grounded in knowledge, responsibility, and human values.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Khanh, Head of the Student Affairs Department, HaUI, received a token of appreciation from representatives of the Vietnam Youth Startup Support Center (SYS) – Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation.

Experts from TikTok Vietnam and SYS provided practical insights on building personal brands in the digital space. They clarified the distinctions between entertainment livestreams and e-commerce livestreams (TikTok Shop), while guiding students on effective channel development and trend-based video production.

These sessions equipped students with concrete skills to transform their passions and professional knowledge into impactful content, creating new opportunities for employment and online entrepreneurship.

TikTok UniTour 2025 at HaUI successfully fulfilled its mission to ignite entrepreneurial spirit, confidence, and creative capability among young people, bridging the gap between academic environments and the vibrant digital economy ecosystem.
