In September 2025, 22 students majoring in Business Administration, 24 students of English and Chinese Studies, and 14 students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) embarked on academic exchange and study programs at leading universities and enterprises in China.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (1950–2025), the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), in collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi, organized the Vietnam–China Cultural Performance Exchange. The event served as a meaningful cultural highlight, contributing to people-to-people diplomacy and fostering stronger ties between the two nations.

On the morning of June 10, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) had the honor of welcoming a high-level delegation from Nanning University, China. The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations, with a particular focus on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between the two institutions. The agreement paves the way for further development in the fields of education and scientific research, in which both universities hold strong capabilities.

Phạm Trà My, former President of the Student Association of the School of Foreign Languages and Tourism under Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), is currently a final-year student majoring in Chinese Linguistics under the 3+1 joint program between HaUI and Guangxi University of Science and Technology (China). Her academic journey and experiences in China have not only provided her with solid expertise but also invaluable insights into culture, people, and remarkable personal growth.

On the morning of July 26, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) had a working session with representatives from the Department of Education and universities in Guangxi Province, China, to expand cooperation in training, technology transfer, scientific research, and promote exchange between faculty and students from both countries.

The international training cooperation between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Vietnam, and Nanning University, China, enables students and lecturers from both institutions to access global education opportunities, engage in academic exchanges, scientific research, and enhance employment prospects, thereby elevating the quality of human resources in both countries.

From April 16 to April 21, the delegation of Hanoi University of Industry, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council paid a working visit to a number of universities in China to expand the cooperation on education and scientific research.

Hanoi University of Industry and Guangxi University of Science and Technology (China) signed a cooperation agreement on training in the form of 2+2, 3+1 for Chinese language major. The event was held on the morning of March 16, 2023.

On December 24th 2019, Dr. Bui Thi Ngan - Vice Rector of HaUI and representatives of International Cooperation Center, Faculty of Foreign Languages welcomed and worked with a delegation from Xiangsihu College of Guangxi National University for Nationalities, China led by Ms. Tang Lina - Vice President. The meeting was to discuss on the prospects of cooperation between the two parties.

On September 16, 2019, Guangxi University of Science and Technology held a meeting to welcome 60 HaUI students to participate in the student exchange program.
