On May 21, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed a delegation from Shega prefecture's Asian economic research association and Nagahama city business association. The meeting, chaired by Assoc. On May 17, the final round and award ceremony of the 2nd "Smart City Integrated Circuit (IC) Design Competition 2024" took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was jointly organized by the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Park, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Department of Science and Technology, and other supporting organizations.

On the afternoon of May 16, 2025, the Faculty of Garment Textile Technology and Fashion Design at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) successfully held the final round of the “Sustainable Fashion Textile and Garment Design” competition. At the "Miss & Mister HaUI 2025" contest, organized by the Youth Union and Student Association of Hanoi University of Industry, Đoàn Thị Hương left a deep impression on the audience. Not only did she win the title of Beauty Queen, but she was also honored with the award for Best Response.
