On October 18, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a meaningful meeting with the University's Women's Union to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024). In the list of top students at the 2024 School of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering (SMAE), Tran Quoc Duy stands out as the top student in the Automotive Engineering Technology major, with an impressive high school graduation exam score of 27.43 points.

On September 30, 2024, FPT Software, in collaboration with the Faculty of Information Technology at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), hosted the event "FPT Leader Talk: Journey to Japan".

At the 2024 Vietnam Techconnect and Innovation event (Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2024), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) exhibited a variety of cutting-edge technological products, including a solar-powered three-wheeled electric vehicle, a parallel robot utilizing artificial intelligence for scientific research, HDPE and PVC-based ceiling and wall panels enhanced with chrome-tanned leather shavings, as well as essential oils and compressed briquettes made from citrus peels.
