HaUI students shine with First Prize at the 2026 “Chinese Talent” competition

Students from the School of Languages and Tourism (SLT), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), have made a remarkable mark by winning the First Prize at the 8th “Chinese Talent” Competition 2026. Surpassing strong contenders from leading Chinese-language training institutions in Northern Vietnam, the HaUI team “Phong Khoi Thua Ai” rose to the top, affirming the university’s strength in Chinese language and cultural education.

The final round of the competition, a prestigious academic playground, was co-organized by the School of Languages and Tourism (SLT) and HSK International Education Development and Cooperation Company. This year’s event attracted the participation of ten outstanding teams from top universities, including Foreign Trade University, University of Languages and International Studies (VNU), Hanoi Pedagogical University No. 2, Military Science Academy, etc.

The 2026 final witnessed a significant leap in both academic quality and performance skills. Contestants were challenged through a series of demanding rounds that required not only advanced Chinese language proficiency but also sharp critical thinking, creativity, and confident stage presence.

The “Phong Khoi Thua Ai” team from HaUI delivered an outstanding performance, impressing judges and audiences alike with their meticulous preparation, precise pronunciation, and compelling presentation. Their performance conveyed meaningful humanistic messages while demonstrating a deep understanding of Chinese culture. The First Prize is a well-deserved recognition of the team’s dedication, perseverance, and passion.

Beyond competition, the “Chinese Talent” contest serves as a bridge connecting students and fostering a shared love for the Chinese language across Northern Vietnam. The success of its 8th edition once again highlights the reputation and organizational capacity of the School of Languages and Tourism (HaUI) in delivering high-quality, large-scale academic events.
