HaUI Youth embark on the 2025 journey “Following Uncle Ho’s footsteps”

To commemorate the 135th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, the Youth Union and Student Association of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized a meaningful program titled “Following Uncle Ho’s Footsteps - Youth Journey 2025”. The event aimed to diversify and enhance the quality of political and ideological education while fostering historical consciousness, cultural appreciation, and revolutionary traditions among the young generation.

The journey took HaUI students to many historic and sacred sites closely associated with the life and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. These included visits to his paternal and maternal hometowns, the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, the historic sites of Dong Loc T-junction and Truong Bon, the Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Museum, and the memorial area dedicated to the great poet Nguyen Du.

At each destination, students had the opportunity to explore moving stories and thematic exhibits about President Ho Chi Minh, from his childhood years to his tireless quest to find a path for national salvation. These experiences helped paint a vivid picture of his life, ideals, and enduring spirit of patriotism.

Through this journey, HaUI students were not only reminded of their roots and the sacrifices of earlier generations but also inspired to continue living up to the teachings of Uncle Ho. The program successfully conveyed messages of aspiration, responsibility, and commitment to national development, further reinforcing the role of youth as torchbearers of the country’s future.

As one participant shared, “This journey was more than a field trip - it was a profound lesson in history and pride. I’ve never felt closer to our nation’s past and more motivated for our future.”

The “Following Uncle Ho’s Footsteps” journey is part of HaUI’s ongoing efforts to educate students through experiential activities, nurturing well-rounded individuals with a strong sense of national identity and civic responsibility.
