The Bonding Festival 2025: Unleashing the hidden waves of student creativity

On the evening of June 12, 2025, Campus 2 of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) was transformed into a vibrant hub of youth and creativity as the School of Economics, in collaboration with faculties based at Campus 2, hosted The Bonding Festival 2025 under the theme “Hidden Waves.” The festival offered a dynamic and meaningful space for students to showcase their artistic talents, connect with peers, and celebrate the spirit of unity and self-expression.

As one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year at Campus 2, the festival reflected the university’s commitment to cultivating a dynamic, inclusive environment where students are empowered to explore their identities, build community, and express their creativity beyond the classroom.

The theme “Hidden Waves” served as a powerful metaphor for the quiet yet enduring strength within each student; the passion, resilience, and energy that may not always be visible, but are constantly shaping their journey. In her opening remarks, Dr. Trương Thanh Hằng, Vice Principal of School of Economics, remarked: “Hidden Waves is not simply a theme, it symbolizes the silent determination and profound vitality of HaUI students. I believe this festival is a space where those inner forces come alive, allowing students to shine, connect, and push their limits.”

The program featured 13 curated performances, spanning genres such as traditional and modern dance, vocal music, musical theater, and contemporary mashups. Each act brought its own unique perspective and artistic flair, turning the stage into a rich tapestry of emotion, energy, and identity.

Following an evening of outstanding performances, the judging panel selected the most impressive entries:

First Prize was awarded to the performance “Lullaby for Peace” by the Faculty of Chemical Technology

Second Prizes were presented to two performances: “The Piêu Scarf” by the Faculty of Garment - Textile Technology and Fashion Design, and “Bắc Bling” by School of Economics

Third Prizes were granted to three performances of Faculty of Chemical Technology, School of Economics and LETCO company

In addition to the top prizes, the Organizing Committee presented seven special awards, recognizing the enthusiasm and artistic dedication of all participating teams

The Bonding Festival 2025 concluded with a profound sense of fulfillment, marking a successful convergence of creativity, unity, and student engagement. The event served as a meaningful platform for students from the School of Economics and faculties at Campus 2 to express their identities, strengthen bonds, and contribute to a vibrant and inclusive campus culture.
