Speaking at the programme, Dr. Nguyen Viet Tuyen, Director of the Information Technology Centre at HaUI, said that HaUI has put nine smart classrooms into operation as part of the University’s digital transformation roadmap for 2026–2030. Surveys of leading universities worldwide show that smart classroom models are being increasingly adopted to support more flexible approaches to teaching and learning. HaUI is gradually developing a similar model as part of its digital transformation efforts, with the aim of enhancing training quality and strengthening HaUI’s position in international university rankings.

At the training workshop, ClassIn experts introduced lecturers to the use of interactive displays, AI tracking cameras, audio systems, AI-powered features and classroom management tools. Lecturers also had the opportunity to practise using the equipment and explore the organisation of OMO (Online Merge Offline) classes, which integrate online and face-to-face learners within the same class.

Smart classrooms provide new possibilities for organising teaching and learning, moving beyond one-way knowledge delivery towards a more interactive learning environment in which students can participate more actively. Integrated digital tools enable lecturers to design classroom activities more flexibly, connect learners and apply student-centred teaching approaches.

The training programme provides an important step towards enabling HaUI lecturers to make effective use of these technological tools and features in their teaching practice.
