HaUI conducts on-site admissions and career counseling in Phu Tho and Ninh Binh

As the 2026 admissions season intensifies, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) continues to attract strong interest from students and parents with its diverse admission pathways. The University plans to enroll approximately 8,300 students across 71 academic programs, maintaining a stable enrollment scale while expanding opportunities through the introduction of new majors such as Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductor Microelectronics, and Materials Technology.

To support prospective applicants in understanding admission regulations and making informed decisions, HaUI organized on-site counseling sessions at key high schools in northern Vietnam. The program was conducted over two consecutive days, taking place at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (Phu Tho) on January 24, 2026, and at Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted (Ninh Binh) on January 25, 2026.

At the consultation booths, academic advisors from the Office of Academic Affairs, together with representatives from various faculties and schools such as Languages and Tourism, Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Economics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information and Communications Technology, Garment Technology and Fashion Design, and Chemical Technology, provided comprehensive information on academic programs and career pathways.

Alongside academic advising, Letco Company joined the program to introduce opportunities for overseas study and international employment, helping students broaden their career perspectives. The consultation areas remained dynamic throughout the event, as students actively engaged with university representatives to better assess their abilities and select suitable subject combinations for admission.

Dinh Huy Tung, a 10th-grade student at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, visited the booth to explore the Computer Science program and seek advice on building a strong foundation in natural sciences to achieve his goal of becoming a technology engineer.

Parents also played an active role in the consultation process. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong and Mr. Do Phan Thu carefully reviewed admission methods and graduate employment prospects, aiming to gather sufficient information to support their children in making well-informed decisions about their academic future.

High-achieving students demonstrated a clear strategic approach to university admission. Vi Tien Han, a 12th-grade student and first-prize winner in the provincial Mathematics competition, sought detailed advice on admission advantages and scholarship opportunities in Information Technology programs, with the ambition of leveraging his strong mathematical background to pursue a career in the digital technology sector.

Similarly, Nguyen Phu Cuong, a 12th-grade student at Ninh Binh – Bac Lieu High School, focused on recent admission score trends and competitiveness in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, using this information to plan a well-balanced application strategy.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Dang Ngoc Khanh, a 12th-grade student at Hoa Lu A High School, expressed keen interest in scholarship opportunities and learning conditions in fashion and garment-related fields, aspiring to study in a multicultural environment and develop global competencies from an early stage.

In 2026, HaUI will apply five admission methods for full-time undergraduate programs. These include direct admission in accordance with national regulations and admission based on the National High School Graduation Examination results. Additional pathways include consideration of applicants with provincial or city-level academic awards or international certificates combined with academic transcripts, as well as results from the Vietnam National University competency assessment and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology’s thinking skills assessment. For combined and alternative admission methods, applicants are required to graduate from high school in 2026 and achieve a minimum average score of 7.0 in the subjects included in their chosen admission combinations.
