On the morning of January 6, 2026, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish 01 Strong Research Group and 11 Potential Research Groups. This event marks a pivotal shift in the University’s strategy for science, technology, and innovation, realizing the goals for the 2026–2030 period: transitioning to a group-based research model, increasing high-quality international publications, and accelerating technology transfer.

The IT Festival - AI Horizon 2025, organized by the School of Information and Communications Technology (SICT) at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), concluded its month-long series of events with a Gala ceremony on the evening of December 26. On the morning of December 9th, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held an important working session with a delegation from Nanning Normal University (NNU), China. This event took place as HaUI strengthens its pivotal role as a key higher education institution designated to train human resources for advanced technology sectors, such as the semiconductor industry. On the afternoon of December 2, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), chaired a meeting with a delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology, China (GXUST). In this context, on November 26, Hanoi University of Industry and College of Industrial Techniques officially signed a cooperation agreement on training activities and scientific and technological development.

Nearly 200 papers authored by 647 researchers from 13 countries marked the 6th International Conference on Research in Management and Technological Innovation (ICRMAT 2025), held on November 7. The conference was jointly organized by Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Electric Power University (EPU), and Stanley College of Engineering and Technology (India), bringing together leading scholars in management and technology from around the world. The event aimed to promote academic collaboration, foster knowledge exchange, and establish a prestigious international platform for research and innovation.

In the first nine months of 2025, Vietnam’s textile and garment exports reached nearly USD 34.8 billion, marking a 7.7 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024. This strong performance has laid a solid foundation for the industry to pursue its ambitious export target of USD 48 billion in 2025.
