On the afternoon of December 2, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), chaired a meeting with a delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology, China (GXUST). After competing against 536 top-selected projects from a pool of over 15,000 student research entries nationwide, a student team from the Faculty of Chemical Technology at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) achieved the prestigious Second Prize in the 2024 National Science and Technology Awards for Students.

On July 2, 2024, Hanoi University of Industry played host to a scientific conference titled "Physical Science and Approaches to Technology and Engineering" This event brought together a diverse group of scientists, lecturers, and experts both from within and outside the university, all eager to exchange ideas and discuss the integration of Physics knowledge in various technology and engineering disciplines, such as Electricity, Electronics, Mechanical, and Automotive Engineering.
