On the morning of December 9th, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held an important working session with a delegation from Nanning Normal University (NNU), China. This event took place as HaUI strengthens its pivotal role as a key higher education institution designated to train human resources for advanced technology sectors, such as the semiconductor industry. The signing of the MOU between the two parties is not just a new milestone in academic diplomacy but also opens up a crucial strategic roadmap for collaborative training and in-depth research in AI, electronics, and new materials, aiming to develop high-quality human resources in the region.

Vietnam has set an ambitious goal to train and supply 50,000 skilled personnel for its semiconductor industry by 2030, a strategic move aimed at cementing its position in the global supply chain. This roadmap is being brought to life through strong government commitments, significant investment in universities, and close collaboration with the private sector.

In the context of Vietnam’s semiconductor industry undergoing a dynamic transformation, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) organized a scientific seminar on August 15 with the theme “Mechanical Engineering and Automation in Semiconductor Manufacturing.” The event provided a prestigious academic forum for exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences, and shaping future directions for the industry.
