5S Lecture Provided for the 3rd Campus in Ha Nam Public time:

On 11 November 2011, Mr. Junichi Mori, JICA Expert, provided the basic 5S training for about 120 lecturers and students in HaUI’s 3rd campus in Ha Nam Province. Mr. Mori gave the lecture about basic 5S concepts, why 5S is important, how enterprises applied 5S, and the progresses in HaUI. Then Mr. Thom, Mr. Thich and Mr. Kien shared their experiences about how to start and maintain 5S activities as well as what they did in the 1st campus as the members of 5S trainer team. After the lecturer, students had the group work to discuss about problems and solutions for some 5S-related problems in HaUI. Three selected groups presented their proposals. Finally, Mr. Mori proposed the first steps for lecturers and students to start implementing 5S in the 3rd campus. He emphasized that if HaUI students learn 5S in the school, they will be able to lead various activities to improve productivity when they start working for companies.
