MOU signing Ceremony between Hanoi University of Industry and the Laotian Ministry of Education and Sports

On 27^th April 2018, the MOU signing ceremony was held between Hanoi University of Industry and the Laotian Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES).

On the behalf of HaUI, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Duc Quy introduced the delegation of MoES of Laos to the achievements, goals and strategies of HaUI, including the aim to develop cooperation with colleges, universities of Laos.

He emphasized: "For the past 6 years of cooperation, Hanoi University of Industry has trained 370 students, officials and lecturers for Laotian vocational schools. Besides, we not only support and equip Vientiane - Hanoi Friendship Vocational School and some other training institutions in Laos with modern labs, but also coordinate with them to develop the 3 year diploma training programs in the fields of Electronics, Information Technology, and Business Administration. Hanoi University of Industry also offers scholarships which have reached 4.5 billion VND to Laotian students. We will continue to provide full scholarships and create the best conditions possible for Laotian students.”

Expressing gratitude and appreciation for the attention that leaders, cadres and lecturers of Hanoi University of Industry have given to Laotian students during the past time, Mr. Nouphan Outsa, Head of Education and Vocational Training Department at MoES of Laos stated "We are very pleased and thankful to the personnel and students of HaUI. Laotian students are living and learning in a very good environment. You always take care of our students and organize valuable activities such as sports, and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Laos. Hopefully, Hanoi University of Industry will continue to cooperate with and support Laotian universities and colleges in the future."
