Study Tour to EBA Organized

On 14 October, 2011, 15 students and 4 lecturers of the Vietnam Japan Center (VJC) had a study tour to EBA Machinery Corporation. EBA introduced overview of the company as well as required skills and knowledge as a mechanical engineering and technician at their machining department.

The VJC students, who are at the second year and have started considering about their future careers learned up-to-date technologies, production management, and professional working behaviors such as 5S and labor safety through the factory tour. In the Q&A session followed, students asked many questions to know more about modern machines as well as skills and knowledge required in EBA. On 3 November Mr. Mori, JICA expert facilitated a follow-up workshop for students to review their findings in the tour and what they should study more in the school to get suitable jobs after graduation.
