HaUI consolidates student affairs achievements and advances support initiatives
On January 27, 2026, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a conference to review student affairs in 2025 and outline tasks for 2026, while awarding Nguyen Thanh Binh Scholarship Fund grants for the 2024–2025 academic year and Lunar New Year gifts for students with disabilities and orphaned students.

At the conference, Dr. Hoang Thi Thanh Huyen, Deputy Head of the Student Affairs Department, reported that activities throughout 2025 were implemented in a coordinated manner, closely aligned with a student-centered approach. Efforts to support academic performance, personal development, psychological counseling, and both material and spiritual well-being continued to be strengthened, contributing to a safe, friendly, and humane learning environment.

In his remarks, Dr. Nguyen Van Thien, Vice Rector, and Head of the Nguyen Thanh Binh Scholarship Fund, emphasized the vital role of student affairs in the university’s transition to a comprehensive university model. He noted that this work goes beyond administrative management, focusing on listening, supporting, and motivating students to study with confidence and develop holistically, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds. He also encouraged students to value the support received from the university and society, considering scholarships and gifts as a source of motivation to continue striving in their studies, proactively improve themselves, and contribute positively to the community.

Each scholarship represents not only financial assistance but also trust and encouragement for students to develop their potential and contribute to society.

HaUI awarded 141 scholarships from the Nguyen Thanh Binh Scholarship Fund to students facing difficult circumstances who have demonstrated strong academic efforts. Additionally, 68 Lunar New Year gift packages were presented to students with disabilities and orphaned students, spreading compassion and providing motivation for them to continue their studies with confidence ahead of the new year.

When the university, partner organizations, and the broader community act in concert, the pursuit of knowledge evolves from an individual effort into a collectively sustained process, underpinned by shared responsibility, mutual support, and long-term development.
