On October 28, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) warmly welcomed a delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), China. The two institutions engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at identifying breakthrough initiatives for cooperation, particularly in the pioneering field of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology.

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) is a public university under the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a 127-year history of development. HaUI was formerly established as the merger of Hanoi Technical School (founded in 1898) and Hai Phong Technical School (founded in 1913). HaUI is recognized as one of Vietnam’s leading application-oriented universities, offering multi-disciplinary programs across various modes and levels of training. Over the decades, the university has played a vital role in supplying high-quality human resources to support the country’s industrialization, modernization, and global integration.

From October 16 to 18, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly hosted the International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2025) in Hanoi.

On October 15, the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held a Conference to review its activities for the 2024 - 2025 academic year and outline key orientations and tasks for 2025 - 2026. On the afternoon of October 14, the 11th Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi University of Industry for the 2025–2027 term was convened, bringing together 104 outstanding delegates representing the intellect, aspirations, and pioneering spirit of nearly 40,000 youth union members and students across the University.

Vietnam has set an ambitious goal to train and supply 50,000 skilled personnel for its semiconductor industry by 2030, a strategic move aimed at cementing its position in the global supply chain. This roadmap is being brought to life through strong government commitments, significant investment in universities, and close collaboration with the private sector.
