Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP), China, have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening strategic cooperation in education, scientific research, and international academic exchange, with a particular focus on green energy and other emerging technologies. The meeting, held on June 22, laid the groundwork for a comprehensive partnership aimed at enhancing academic quality, promoting collaborative research, and developing globally competitive engineering talent.

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international collaboration in education and workforce development, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed a delegation from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and professors from leading Korean universities on June 16, 2026. The visit focused on assessing the academic and laboratory capacity of the School of Chemical Engineering while exploring opportunities to develop training programs that prepare students for employment in the Republic of Korea.

On May 5, 2026, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) hosted a working session with Professor Raymond Lee of the University of Portsmouth (UK) to explore new frontiers in global research and higher education collaboration. On the afternoon of December 2, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), chaired a meeting with a delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology, China (GXUST). The two institutions engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at identifying breakthrough initiatives for cooperation, particularly in the pioneering field of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology.
