On November 26, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), in collaboration with the National Innovation Center under the Ministry of Finance, organized the Green Voices public speaking competition as part of the youth green transition education program.

With the theme “What would you say to persuade someone who is still hesitant about electric vehicles?”, ten student teams from different faculties of HaUI presented diverse arguments highlighting the role of young people in promoting sustainable mobility.

The competition featured both data-driven and emotionally engaging presentations. Team ESC emphasized scientific evidence, noting that the fire risk of electric vehicles is significantly lower than that of gasoline cars. Team NPT framed electric vehicle use as a social responsibility and a reflection of a green lifestyle. Team Go Green delivered a comprehensive analysis of safety, economic benefits, and future trends, ending with the strong message that “Green Voices is not a whisper - it is the roar of the truth.”

Team The Green Movers addressed infrastructure development through comparisons with the rapid expansion of ATMs and 4G networks in Viet Nam. Team Next Gen challenged common fears by contrasting the much lower fire incident rate of electric vehicles with that of gasoline cars. From an economic perspective, Team Chem-Green showed that users could save up to 80% in operating costs over long-term use. Team Eco Pioneers highlighted the role of electric vehicles in reducing emissions and promoting sustainable tourism. Meanwhile, Team Green Pulse shared real-life stories to demonstrate that electric vehicles are suitable for all ages. Technical insights were provided by Teams Green Car and SMAE Auto, who emphasized low maintenance costs and long-term industrial benefits.

The competition created a dynamic forum for HaUI students to exchange ideas on green mobility and demonstrate their pioneering role in the green transition.

At the awards ceremony, the First Prize was presented to Team Go Green (School of Economics). The Second Prize went to Team Green Pulse (School of Languages and Tourism). The Impression Award was shared by Teams Eco Pioneers and Chem-Green. The Potential Award was given to the remaining six teams: ESC, NPT, The Green Movers, Next Gen, Green Car, and SMAE Auto.
