The Second “5S Week” Opened

On 24 October, 2011, HaUI opened the second 5S week. In the opening ceremony, Mr. Toshio Tsuruta, Assistant Director, Panasonic Institute of Manufacturing gave a key-note speech on the importance of 3S.

The Second “5S Week” Opened

Then Mr. Quang and Mr. Mori presented 5S implementation in enterprises and the progress in HaUI. 5S Week continues from 24th October to 28th October, aiming to raise the awareness of all HaUI’s lecturers and students about 5S. In the week, there will be various events including A7 Building Clean-up Project on 24th and 25th, 5S assessment with external assessors from enterprises in whole HaUI on 26th and 27th, and 5S awarding ceremony on the last day of the event.
