HaUI welcomes delegation from Guangxi Overseas Chinese School for a Six-Month exchange program
On the morning of March 23, 2026, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) held an official reception to welcome a delegation of faculty and students from the Guangxi Overseas Chinese School (China), marking the commencement of a six-month academic and cultural exchange program.

The official reception was graced by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong, Vice Rector of HaUI, accompanied by key representatives from the Departments of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and External Affairs, and School of Foreign Languages and Tourism.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong highlighted the delegation's arrival as a vivid reflection of the strong, ongoing partnership between the two institutions. He reaffirmed the university's dedication to the students' well-being, stating that HaUI is fully committed to providing the best possible learning and living environment. His hope is that every student will thrive, enjoy a safe experience, and ultimately become a true "cultural ambassador" who bridges the two nations.

On behalf of the delegation of Guangxi Overseas Chinese School, Ms. He Jiaxin conveyed her profound appreciation for HaUI’s exceptional hospitality. She expressed strong confidence that this six-month exchange program will serve as a catalyst for advancing comprehensive institutional partnerships, particularly regarding joint educational initiatives, faculty mobility, and curriculum resource sharing. Furthermore, she urged the participating students to dedicate themselves to their studies, proactively immerse themselves in the local culture, and cultivate meaningful interactions with their Vietnamese counterparts to effectively elevate their practical linguistic proficiency.

To kick off their academic journey, 52 students will take a placement test before being organized into two specialized classes. They will dive into a curriculum focused on the Vietnamese language and culture, expertly guided by HaUI’s School of Foreign Languages and Tourism.

To ensure a smooth and welcoming transition, the university provided a thorough orientation covering academic guidelines, dormitory life, and local safety. Furthermore, HaUI’s Student Support Center and Dormitory Management have been fully mobilized to guarantee a comfortable and stable living environment, allowing the students to focus wholeheartedly on their studies and cultural immersion.
