Scientific Seminar "Software Engineering and Data Science"

On the morning of June 29, Hanoi University of Industry held a Scientific Seminar on Software Engineering and Data Science. Nearly 20 topics were selected to be shared in 4 sub-committees, bringing a lot of expertise in the fields of Software Engineering and Data Science.

Dr. Dang Trong Hop - Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology delivered his opening remarks: The Software Engineering and Data Science Seminar is a forum for teachers and scientists to discuss new and advanced fields of IT and its application in teaching and doing scientific research at Hanoi University of Industry.

Sharing experience in writing scientific articles in English, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Uy from the Military Technical Academy said: Researchers need to identify the following questions before submitting articles for publication in journals: What do you want the article to achieve? What scientific problem would you like to convey? Why are others interested in your research, who are they, what is their level of knowledge…?

MSc. Tran Thanh Hung shared his ideas on the topic "Building an application to support driving safety using AI technology"

At the seminar, the authors presented topics such as: Building and training a regression model applying to marketing campaigns - using the programming language Python and Google Colaboratory; Basic audio programming with ChucK language; Using Material Design in XAML Toolkit in GUI design of WPF applications; Learning about the File Server Resource Manager tool of Windows Server 2019…
