From 26 July to 1 August 2026, a delegation from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), led by Assoc. Prof. Kieu Xuan Thuc, President of the University, visited universities and education partners in Shanghai and Macao, China.
University governance and digital transformation were the focus of a working session between Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and the University of Finance and Marketing (UFM) on July 21, as the two institutions exchanged perspectives and practical experience in developing modern governance models.
A delegation from Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) visited Vientiane, Lao People's Democratic Republic, from 13 to 17 July 2026, as part of the University's efforts to strengthen educational cooperation and expand study opportunities for Lao students.
As the technology sector continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, closer collaboration between universities and industry is essential to preparing a workforce equipped with both strong academic foundations and practical expertise. In response to this need, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) and Viettel Software have officially launched the HaUI Viettel Software Laboratory, known as HaUI VTIT, at the School of Information and Communications Technology.
On 2 July 2026, the Labour Supplying and Training Company Limited (LETCO), a subsidiary of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Daeduk University (Republic of Korea) and IBTECH Joint Stock Company. The agreements mark a significant step forward in expanding international collaboration, strengthening linkages between higher education institutions and industry, and creating broader opportunities for Vietnamese students to pursue international education, internships, and career development.
With a strategic focus on advancing the internationalization of education in training, scientific research, academic exchange, and the development of a multicultural academic environment, Hanoi University of Industry continues to affirm its position as an innovative, globally engaged higher education institution actively expanding regional partnerships. On June 29, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Văn Đông, Vice President of HaUI, chaired a working session with a delegation from the Graduate Education Association of the CALABARZON Region, Philippines (PAGE Region IV-A). The meeting aimed to explore potential cooperation in postgraduate education, scientific research, academic exchange, faculty–student mobility, and overall quality enhancement in higher education.
