LETCO - HaUI signs MoUs with Daeduk University and IBTECH to enhance training and employment pathways
On 2 July 2026, the Labour Supplying and Training Company Limited (LETCO), a subsidiary of Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Daeduk University (Republic of Korea) and IBTECH Joint Stock Company. The agreements mark a significant step forward in expanding international collaboration, strengthening linkages between higher education institutions and industry, and creating broader opportunities for Vietnamese students to pursue international education, internships, and career development.

The signing ceremony brought together Mr. Lee Chang-sik, Head of the Office of International Affairs at Daeduk University; Mr. Yang Jae-hyun, Chief Executive Officer of IBTECH Joint Stock Company; Mr. Kim Ho-wan, Chief Executive Officer of K-Tech Global HRD; Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Director of LETCO; representatives of Hanoi University of Industry; and nearly 500 students from partner high schools.
In the opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung highlighted the growing momentum of Viet Nam–Republic of Korea cooperation and the increasing demand for highly skilled professionals equipped with technical expertise, foreign language proficiency, and practical competencies. He noted that the partnership with Daeduk University and IBTECH reflects LETCO's commitment to strengthening university–industry collaboration through practice-oriented education, enabling students to acquire industry-relevant skills while expanding their career prospects upon graduation.

Representing Daeduk University, Mr. Lee Chang-sik, Head of the Office of International Affairs, introduced the University's international education model, which integrates academic study with workplace-based learning through close collaboration with industry partners. He expressed confidence that the partnership with LETCO would combine Daeduk University's educational strengths with HaUI's training ecosystem, providing students with enhanced professional competencies and stronger employability in an increasingly competitive global labour market.

Representing participating high schools, Mr. Pham Ngoc Vu, Chairman of the School Council of Nguyen Cong Tru High School (Ninh Binh), highly appreciated the role of LETCO and Hanoi University of Industry in connecting Vietnamese educational institutions with international universities and enterprises. He noted that the partnership would not only broaden students' access to international learning opportunities but also strengthen career guidance, enabling them to make more informed academic and professional choices after graduating from high school.

As part of the programme, LETCO and Daeduk University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), further expanding Hanoi University of Industry's international partnership network in education and human resource development. Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate in foreign language education, professional training, internship programmes, and career placement initiatives, providing students with a structured pathway from academic study to professional employment.

Cooperation was further extended to IBTECH Joint Stock Company through a signed agreement on human resource development, aimed at deepening industry participation in training and creating more structured pathways for students to access internships and employment opportunities.

The programme further included an academic seminar introducing Daeduk University’s training ecosystem, which is built on an integrated model combining classroom instruction with industry-based learning. Discussions highlighted study routes for international students as well as key aspects of admission, scholarship schemes, training environment, and employment prospects in the Republic of Korea. Representatives from Daeduk University and its partner organisations also responded directly to questions from participants, providing practical insights into study and career opportunities abroad.
