We hope that more educational and training institutions will replicate what the HaUI-JICA project has done.” Mr. Motonori Tsuno, Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam stated, “After two technical assistance projects with JICA, we are proud that HaUI is now acknowledged as a vocational training institution which can provide vocational training at Japanese standards and receive high evaluation from government agencies, other vocational training institutions and industry”.

In the plenary session, Mr. Ha Xuan Quang, Vice Rector presented the overview of main outputs and key activities of Project. Mr. Inagawa explained the training process management system, which is the core of the Project.

After the plenary session, participants joined six breakout sessions: (i) organization of industry needs survey; (ii) development of short-term course: experience from machinery maintenance course; (iii) implementation of win-win internship programs; (iv) development of employment support system; (v) implementation of 5S in schools; and (vi) implementation of pilot skill test.
