Nearly 200 papers authored by 647 researchers from 13 countries marked the 6th International Conference on Research in Management and Technological Innovation (ICRMAT 2025), held on November 7. The conference was jointly organized by Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Electric Power University (EPU), and Stanley College of Engineering and Technology (India), bringing together leading scholars in management and technology from around the world. The event aimed to promote academic collaboration, foster knowledge exchange, and establish a prestigious international platform for research and innovation.

On November 7, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) welcomed a delegation from Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP), China, led by Mr. Tong Lai, Secretary of the Party Committee of SUEP. The two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a strategic milestone and opening a new phase of deeper cooperation between two prestigious institutions from Vietnam and China.

On the afternoon of October 29, Hanoi University of Industry organized the scientific conference entitled “Developing the strategy of Hanoi University of Industry and university ranking for the 2026–2030 period with a vision to 2035.” The conference was attended by members of the University leadership and management staff, serving as an internal academic and administrative forum to review the development context, shape a strategic framework, and establish a solid foundation for the next phase of development of Hanoi University of Industry.

On October 28, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) warmly welcomed a delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), China. The two institutions engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at identifying breakthrough initiatives for cooperation, particularly in the pioneering field of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) technology.

Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) is a public university under the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a 127-year history of development. HaUI was formerly established as the merger of Hanoi Technical School (founded in 1898) and Hai Phong Technical School (founded in 1913). HaUI is recognized as one of Vietnam’s leading application-oriented universities, offering multi-disciplinary programs across various modes and levels of training. Over the decades, the university has played a vital role in supplying high-quality human resources to support the country’s industrialization, modernization, and global integration.

The implementation of the Party and State’s policies on restructuring and reorganizing the system of public educational institutions is being vigorously pursued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with the aim of streamlining organizational structures, enhancing operational efficiency, and accelerating university autonomy.

On the afternoon of October 24, the Science, Technology and Innovation Conference 2025 convened policymakers, scientists, experts, entrepreneurs, and investors from across Vietnam to engage in a forward-looking dialogue on innovation and sustainable development.

As Viet Nam enters a new phase of national development characterized by intertwined opportunities and challenges, Hanoi University of Industry identifies the renewal and refinement of its development strategy as a central task to proactively adapt and achieve breakthrough progress. With the objective of aligning awareness and action among the University’s leadership and management staff, HaUI organized a training workshop to implement the Action Program of the Party Committee and to communicate strategic development objectives for the 2025–2030 period.

From October 16 to 18, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) proudly hosted the International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2025) in Hanoi.

On October 16, Hanoi University of Industry joined four other universities under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in a collective initiative to support communities severely affected by recent flooding. Through this joint effort, a total of VND 2 billion was donated to assist recovery and relief activities, with Hanoi University of Industry contributing VND 400 million.

On the morning of October 14, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) warmly welcomed a delegation from College of Industrial Techniques for a working session focused on sharing experiences in curriculum development, innovation, institutional autonomy, and the establishment of university-based enterprises.
