5 HaUI Members Participated in the Advanced Machining Center Training in Japan

From 12^th to 20^th October 2012, five HaUI members (Mr. Thom and Mr. Quang from VJC, Mr. Dung from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Mr. The Anh from Mechanical Center, and Mr. Duc from Hon Hai Training Center) participated in the training course on the advanced machining center operation organized n Mie, Japan.

This training was organized in the training center of Mori Seiki Co., Ltd., who is a Japanese leading manufacturer of machine tools. In August, the Project provided two new Mori Seiki machining centers for VJC/HaUI for improvement of CNC courses and implementation of national skill test in the future.

Participants learned basic programming and processing methods for profiling, grooving, chamfering, drilling, boring, tapping and reaming. They also learned basics of macro command and received basic training on maintenance and safety.

Participants organized the technology transfer workshop on 14 November and shared what they learned with 12 lecturers from VJC, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Center. One lecturer from Vinh University and one lecturer from Vietnam Korea Vocational College also observed the training.
