Training on CUDBAS Organized

From 1 to 11 October, the Project organized the intensive training on CUDBAS – A Method of Curriculum Development Based on Vocational Ability Structure.

The training aimed to analyze the main duties of vocational instructors, develop the ability maps of WG members trained by the Project, and draft the training program on process management. 8 members (Mr. Thom, Mr. Hung, Mr. Thanh, Mr. Thich, Mr. Kien, Mr. Viet, Mr. Dai and Mr. Bao) participated in this 6-day training provided by Mr. Atsunori Kume, a JICA short-term expert on CUDBAS. The participants were selected from WG members who joined the process management training in June 2010 and those who are supported to contribute to improve HaUI’s vocational instructors training programs in the future. Guided by Mr. Kume, the participants went through the basic process of CUDBAS, which includes development of: (i) CUDBAS chart through brainstorming; (ii) subject table; (iii) training schedule; (iv) training curriculum; and (v) ability map.
