On 7 September 2012, HaUI organized the presentation ceremony of equipment provided by the Project so far including two machining centers, PLC devices and PCs, simulators for electric system maintenance, and pneumatic simulators.

The ceremony received the high-level government officials such as H.E. Yasuaki Tanizaki, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Motonori Tsuno, Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam. Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Vice Minister of MOIT, Mr. Ho Quang Trung, Director of International Cooperation Dept., MOIT, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Vinh, Director General of Dept. of Technical and Vocational Education, MOET, and Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh, Deputy Director General of GDVT.Representatives from Toho Vietnam, DMG Mori Seiki South East Asia, DMG Mori Seiki Vietnam, Maruka Machinery, and Hokuriku Machining Club joined the event.
Mr. Tran Duc Quy, Rector of HaUI committed that HaUI would fully utilize and properly maintain all equipment, in order to increase supply of skilled industrial human resources.H.E. Tanizaki, Japanese Ambassador expected that HaUI would provide better training not only for their students but lecturers of other vocational schools.Mr. Tsuno, JICA Chief Representative hoped that HaUI would conduct a national skill test on machining center by utilizing newly-provided machines.Mr. Tuan Anh, Vice Minister of MOIT thanked the supports from the Government of Japan and hoped to keep the good partnership.
