On 19 May 2012, 5 lecturers from Vietnam Japan Center (VJC) and one JICA expert participated in the MOU signing ceremony between VJC-HaUI and Viet Yen private high school, Bac Giang Province.

This partnership helps VJC receive more applicants from this school for VJC’s courses. Talking with last year students of the school, Mr. Thom, VJC’s Director introduced about VJC and skills and knowledge which can be learned in VJC, as well as career path after graduation including employment and further study. Then Mr. Inagawa, JICA expert, emphasized the high demand on technicians from industry and compared that between Japan and Vietnam, seeing VJC as a good sample in providing vocational training courses. He encouraged high school students, especially female students should apply for vocational courses up on their studying ability.
